B.S.N - Standin On The Corna, Srugglin ( 1997 )

Sicc album from B.S.N. outta Mississippi from 1997. 15 tracks in total produced by WEED G. The production is G'ed out as all fuck with heavy synth basslines, drum machines, strings & a bit of that old 808 boooom. Heaps of rappers on here too. Honest, brutal shit! On the back cover are a few credits but noticably is the one that reads - ' Homeboy in the way at the studio - Cubby '. Priceless. Released thru Broad St. Records.

STREETSOUNDS HIP HOP 22 ( 1988 )

One for LOPSY. Classic end to a dope series of classic hip hop of the 80's from English label STREETSOUNDS. STREETSOUNDS only released 2 of this series at the time on CD - the rest on vinyl & cassette. This being the last. Comes complete with an old school MEGAMIX on the final track & insane artwork! This series was basically my education in keeping up with hip hop from 1984 to 1988. Not only did it showcase that classic New York shit, it also gave coverage to UK rappers & Westcoast artists such as KING TEE & C.I.A., amongst others ( too many to mention ). Real heads know this series! 8 tracks in total. Released in 1988. ESSENTIAL!!!!!
